Meet Salsa: The Pride of Ambermoon
Salsa is from our standout “Jedi x Locket” litter, and she truly embodies the essence of everything we strive for at Ambermoon Kooikerhondje. From her head-turning beauty to her sharp intelligence, Salsa has truly made her mark on the breed. She is a powerhouse in the show ring, following closely in the footsteps of her highly decorated father, “Jedi.” In fact, she dominated the ring as the #1 Kooikerhondje Breed Dog for three consecutive years before taking a temporary retirement to whelp her current litter of puppies. With her adorable face, flawless structure, constantly wagging tail, and confident attitude, she is an incredible asset to our breeding program and the breed as a whole. Salsa’s talents don't stop at the show ring—she is a phenomenal athlete, too! She recently burst onto the AKC Fast CAT scene, proving she has serious speed to match her beauty. Clocking an incredible personal best of just under 26 MPH, she held the title of the #1 Fastest Kooikerhondje for the current 2026 season until she paused her racing career for motherhood. Outside of the spotlight, Salsa reigns supreme as the "queen" of the house among her doggie companions, living for the simple pleasures of begging for endless snuggle sessions and claiming her rightful spot on the couch with her favorite humans.
Meet Conrad: The Future of Ambermoon
Conrad is from our standout “Keeper x Lucia” litter, and he is the exact realization of everything we had hoped for with that spectacular pairing. He is an absolutely beautiful dog with a soft, flowing coat, incredible earrings, gorgeous structure, and a charismatic “Pick Me!” attitude that makes him a massive asset to our program. In the ring, he commands attention with his outstanding, flawless movement, covering the ground with effortless grace, perfect balance, and a powerful, clean stride. While his show career has only just begun, he is already highly accomplished, and our main focus for the next couple of years will be watching him truly show the world what he is made of. At home, Conrad has a soft, appeasing demeanor, always trying to be the absolute best boy he can be—while also doing his finest to control his overflowing, joyful exuberance for life! He thoroughly enjoys his backyard downtime playing endless games of fetch and chasing birds. With his perfect blend of striking looks, superb movement, and a sweet, loving heart, we fully expect beautiful and sweet puppies from him who will carry on his wonderful legacy.
We have been eagerly anticipating this spectacular breeding for a long time. From the incredible dogs themselves to the stellar pedigree behind them, there is so much to admire about pairing Salsa and Conrad. First and foremost, we expect these puppies to be fantastic companions who will absolutely adore their humans and fill their homes with joy. We also fully expect these puppies to be stunning, correct examples of the breed. Furthermore, we anticipate having some select puppies available who will thrive in performance homes, highlighting exciting sports such as NoseWork, BarnHunt, and Fast CAT. These puppies are being raised knowing nothing but absolute love from day one, and we will be meticulous in selecting dedicated homes to ensure that remains the case for the rest of their lives. The "Go Home" time frame is End July 2026 thru end of August 2026. This litter is $5300.
